Sweeney Todd is a fictional character who first appeared as the main protagonist of the Victorian penny dreadful The String of Pearls (1846–47), and became a staple of Victorian melodrama. It was adapted into a musical in 1979.

Can’t make it on July 18th? Sweeney Todd will also be performed at the Old Stone House on July 9, 10, 11, 16, 17. See theoldstonehouse.org/event/sweeney-todd/ for more information.
